In March 2026, at least 211 civilians were killed and 1,206 injured, representing a 49 per cent increase compared with February 2026 (191 killed; 759 injured) and a 29 per cent increase compared with March 2025 (178 killed; 922 injured). The number of civilian casualties in March is the highest since July 2025.

Conflict-related violence in February 2026 killed at least 188 people and injured 757.

Systematic and repeated attacks by Russian armed forces on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure caused extensive disruptions to electricity, heating, and water across the country, affecting millions, as temperatures consistently remained below freezing. Conflict-related violence killed at least 161 and injured 757.

Civilian casualties in December 2025 remained high, with at least 157 killed and 888 injured. The number of casualties in December was similar to the casualty numbers in recent months, but a 66 per cent increase compared with December 2024 (109 killed; 522 injured).

Civilian casualties in November 2025 remained high, with at least 226 killed and 952 injured, similar to the previous two months.
