At least 208 civilians were killed and 1,220 injured in Ukraine in September, making it the month with the highest number of civilian casualties (killed and injured) in 2024, continuing a trend of higher civilian casualties that started in July. Nine children were killed and 76 injured. Forty-six per cent of those killed were older than 60 years.

At least 184 civilians were killed and 856 injured in Ukraine in August, making it the month with the second highest number of civilian casualties in 2024, after July.

At least 219 civilians were killed and 1,018 injured in Ukraine in July, which makes it the deadliest month for civilians since October 2022. The high number of casualties in July continues a trend of increasing civilian casualties since March 2024. 

At least 146 civilians were killed and 672 injured in Ukraine in June. While lower than May, the overall casualty number is the second highest in 2024. The number of casualties among children in June is the highest in 2024 (with 8 children killed and 57 injured)
