Reports of the Secretary-General

The present report of the Secretary-General on the situation of human rights in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, including the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, is submitted pursuant to General Assembly resolution 79/184, in which the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to submit a report to the General Assembly at its eightieth session.

In the present interim report, the Secretary-General describes the progress made in the implementation of General Assembly resolution 79/184 and provides options and recommendations for improving its implementation.

In the present report, the Secretary-General describes the progress made in the implementation of General Assembly resolution 78/221 and provides options and recommendations for improving its implementation.

The present report is submitted pursuant to the request in the statement by the President of the Security Council of 21 September 2018 (S/PRST/2018/18). It also responds to the Council’s requests for reporting on specific themes in resolutions 2286 (2016), 2417 (2018), 2474 (2019), 2475 (2019) and 2573 (2021).
