Human rights violations and abuses and international humanitarian law violations committed in the context of the Ilovaisk events in August 2014

This report of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) covers the multifaceted, interrelated and mutually reinforcing human rights violations and abuses and international humanitarian law violations, committed against civilians and persons hors de combat during the Ilovaisk events in August 2014. In particular, the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (HRMMU) documented numerous violations and abuses of the rights to life, liberty, security and physical integrity during these events.
