With at least 1,575 civilian casualties (232 killed; 1,343 injured), June 2025 has been the month with the highest number of civilian casualties in three years. The number of civilians killed in June is the highest in almost a year.
Conflict-related violence killed 968 civilians and injured 4,807 between 1 December 2024 and 31 May 2025, a 37 per cent increase compared with the same period last year.
