This week the Deputy Head of our Mission Noel Calhoun delivered a lecture at the Lviv International Law Summer School, co-organized by the Ukrainian Catholic University, OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine, and the Council of Europe. The course brought together 40 students and young lawyers for an intensive 9-day summer course with a particular focus on international law and human rights.
Our Deputy Head of Mission spoke about how international law guides the work of human rights monitoring in Ukraine, and how our reports are referenced by international courts, including the European Court of Human Rights.
